Initial Situation
Deka Bank is the securities house of the German Savings Banks Finance Group, headquartered in Frankfurt/Main, with a subsidiary in Luxembourg and currently employing around 4,700 people.
The task of the Human Resources Development department is to improve collaboration across the organization in line with the company’s strategy while expanding its toolkit. How can HR development be effective in day-to-day operations? How can the development of group and organizational competencies be tackled? Our MICRO-trainings format and the topics identified by HR can make a significant contribution to this. MICRO-trainings have thus become an integral part of employee development at Deka.
Goals and Topics
Each year, MICRO-trainings on currently relevant topics take place as part of Deka Learning. The trainings are aimed at managers, department heads, and employees alike.
HR development values the MICRO-trainings tool for its ability to respond quickly to staff needs and uses the format to raise awareness of topics and implement improvements in leadership and everyday work. Participants appreciate the compact format, which requires little time commitment, and the fact that concrete solutions are found by the end of each training. We cover topics such as:
Nowadays, all MICRO-trainings are conducted entirely virtually.
